Graduates will be well prepared for staff positions in academia involving research concerned with the development and application of computational models in engineering, the sciences, and computing. The interdisciplinary CSE MS degree program is jointly offered by the colleges of Computing, Engineering and Sciences. Participating units from these colleges include the School of Computational Science and Engineering; Department of Biomedical Engineering; and schools of Aerospace Engineering, Civil and Phd thesis gatech Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, and Mathematics.
The program is offered with the option to take portions, or in some instances, phd thesis gatech of the coursework off-campus via Georgia Tech Professional Education. The curriculum has been structured to impart students with solid CSE foundational knowledge and skills, and includes technical specialization courses that enhance a student's domain expertise. Advanced elective courses will enable students to specialize in a domain and technical expertise focusing on their particular interests.
